In the My Approvals tab. When you set the filter to show "Approved" items it doesn't ever show any. Regardless if the ticket is opened or closed. I tested with two account's as the approver, once approved that item is no longer visible no matter the filter selected.
Ticket - BUG-3450
This was intentional at the time of development, as generally you dont need to review things you have already approved. we will review this and decide if this needs to change.
I understand that. However, I would like to make the case as to why it is important.
- It’s non-intuitive UI design. If you set the expectation to your users that you can see other aspects of the system that have already been completed such as tickets. I see no reason why that same philosophy wouldn’t carry over to something like approvals.
- If you have a group where three people can approve requests, but only one approval is needed. It’s nice for them to be able to communicate with each other and say “hey I don’t remember if I approved that one, let me go check my log and see” right now they can’t do that.
I'm looking for someone else in the community to weigh in here. I really think people should be able to see past items that they've approved. I welcome the discussion, if I'm wrong I'm wrong, I'd just like to discuss why.
